Our Mission & Vision
Vision
To inspire and equip believers to live out the teachings of Jesus Christ, empowered by the Holy Spirit for growth, transformation, discipleship, and community impact.
Our mission
Teach God’s Word, make disciples, share the Gospel, build connections, and empower holistic growth through Spirit-led living.
The Pillars of Believers Life Church: Grow. Gather. Give.
At Believers Life Church, everything we do flows from three foundational pillars that define who we are and how we serve: Grow, Gather, and Give. These pillars are more than just words. They are the spiritual DNA of our church and are intentionally designed to permeate every ministry, small group, and team. Whether you are worshiping on Sunday, fellowshipping in a Growth Group, or serving in outreach, these pillars guide our purpose and our practice.
1. Grow
We are committed to helping believers grow spiritually through the Word of God, prayer, worship, and discipleship. Growth is not optional, it's essential. Every ministry must provide opportunities for spiritual development, so that every member is equipped to live out their faith in real, transformative ways.
2. Gather
We believe that life is best lived in community. We gather for worship, for meals, for encouragement, and for fun. Fellowship is vital to spiritual health, and we want every space, whether it's a Bible study, youth hangouts, or ministry meetings to be marked by authentic connection and care.
3. Give
We are called to be servants and givers. Every group and ministry is challenged to look outward for opportunities to serve our neighbors, meet real needs, volunteer in our city, and express the love of Christ through tangible action. Giving of our time, talents, and treasure is how we impact the world around us.
Unified Culture Across Every Ministry
These pillars are not reserved for select ministries—they are expected to be present in every area of church life:
- Children’s ministry? They grow in the Word, gather in safe spaces, and give through service projects.
- Hospitality team? They grow in spiritual excellence, gather to encourage one another, and give through welcoming others.
- Men’s & Women’s groups? They grow through teaching, gather for fellowship, and give through outreach.
Our Beliefs
God
We believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. God is the Creator, Sustainer, and Redeemer of all creation, and His love is central to our faith and mission.
Jesus
We believe in Jesus Christ as the Son of God, fully divine and fully human. Through His life, death, and resurrection, He provides salvation and reconciliation to all who believe in Him.
Holy Spirit
We believe the Holy Spirit dwells in every believer, empowering us for holy living, spiritual growth, and service. The Spirit equips us to fulfill God’s purposes in the world.
The Bible
We believe the Bible is the inspired, infallible Word of God, serving as the ultimate authority for faith and practice. It reveals God’s character and provides guidance for living a Christ-centered life.
Salvation
We believe salvation is a gift of grace through faith in Jesus Christ. It is not earned by works but freely given to all who repent and believe, resulting in eternal life and a restored relationship with God.
Church
We believe the Church is the body of Christ, called to worship God, disciple believers, and serve the world. As a community of faith, we are committed to living out the teachings of Jesus and advancing His kingdom.
Evangelism & Discipleship
We believe in the Great Commission to share the Gospel with the world and make disciples. Our mission is to equip believers to grow spiritually, live out their faith, and impact their communities.
Transformation
We believe in the transformative power of the Gospel to renew hearts, restore lives, and bring hope to individuals and communities.
Baptism
We believe that baptism is a public declaration of faith in Jesus Christ and an act of obedience to His command (Matthew 28:19). It symbolizes the believer’s identification with Christ’s death, burial, and resurrection (Romans 6:3-4). Baptism represents the washing away of sin and the beginning of a new life in Christ (Acts 2:38).
While baptism does not grant salvation, it is a vital step of obedience for those who have placed their faith in Christ as Lord and Savior. At Believers Life Church, we practice baptism by immersion, following the example set by Jesus Himself (Matthew 3:16). We view it as a celebration of God’s grace and a commitment to live a transformed life for His glory.
